The Digital Revolution

1980’s to early 1990’s

After the development of Adobe System’s Postscript and Mac’s MacPaint, graphic designs were completely morphed with computer technology. Bill Atkinson, who developed MacPaint, and Susan Kare, a graphic designer, revolutionized the “human interface”. Postscript and MacPaint transformed how we perceive graphic design by enabling all modern designs to be developed using the internet and computers.
